HOW IT WORK

A Patient-Centered Approach for Effective, Long-Lasting Results

Assessment

Kerri, Diana and Amin complete a brief and gentle assessment using your health information for postural considerations, orthopaedic testing for symptom- based conditions or injuries and your goals for how you would like your massage therapy session. Treatments may range from stress-symptom reduction, pre/post natal care, surgical recovery, sport injuries or repetitive strain injuries.

Swedish Therapy

Ongoing appointments may range from 15 to 60 minutes utilizing Swedish techniques including effleurage, kneading, vibration and/or tapotement with gentle to firm or deep tissue focus.

REm-ex & Self-care

Following your PASSIVE care session your RMT will instruct you how to rest, self-massage, stretch or strengthen regions that are tight, weak or have been injured. This is called remedial exercise. Stretching and strengthening are an important ACTIVE part of maintaining your progress. Without them, passive care benefits will not last. Recommendations for future care will be discussed.

Towards better health from the inside out

Our Registered Massage Therapists utilize evidence-based manipulation on your body’s muscles, connective tissues and ligaments and joints.

Swedish techniques including effleurage, petrissage, kneading, joint mobilizations, and remedial exercise to stimulate your muscular, nervous and circulatory systems to help you function and feel better.
